About the trip

Where all 16 homes
come together

Kids' Camp is a special gathering that unites children from all 16 New Hope Children's Homes in one location. Held in Siem Reap, Cambodia — a city of deep cultural and spiritual significance — camp is filled with group worship, teachings, breakout sessions, and the opportunity for children to be baptized.

Team members support the camp by playing with kids during free time, facilitating breakout sessions, and participating in all camp activities. This trip is open to children, youth, and adults. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Trip schedule

Dates may shift by a day or two depending on available flights. Trip dates: September 25 – October 1.

Pre-camp
Sept 25
Jet lag recovery and prayer walking at Angkor Wat.
Sept 26
Visit to the Siem Reap Children's Home — meet the kids and gain insight into their daily lives to better understand the importance and impact of camp.
Camp begins
Camp · Sept 27 – Oct 1
Sept 27
Volunteers arrive to set up camp.
Sept 28
Kids begin arriving in the afternoon, followed by dinner and an opening session.
Sept 29
First full day at camp.
Sept 30
Second full day at camp, including Aquarium and water park visit, with baptisms.
Oct 1
After breakfast, the kids depart for their homes. Volunteers clean up and head to the nearest international airport.
